تم كشف هذة الثغرة الخطيرة مجموعة من المبرمجين وهم من صمم بندقية يدعون عليها بلو اسنيبر وهو فريق مكون تقريباً من 5 اشخاص ولهم برامج فى حماية البلتوث لكن فقط للحماية من المخربين ولكن ليس منهم لانهم هم المبرمجين البرامج ويعرفون مدخلها ومخرجها ونقاط ضعفها وقام فريق time-uot
